INTERESTED – Interoperable Embedded Systems Tool Chain for Enhanced Rapid Design, Prototyping and Code Generation is the EU FP7 large scale integrating project that Artisan is partnering under the leadership of Esterel Technologies (see project web-site http://www.interested-ip.eu).
Integrating the requirements of major tool users of embedded systems tools, INTERESTED will deliver an open interoperable embedded systems tool-chain to boost the competitiveness of key European industries. The full range of Embedded Systems and Software engineering disciplines are covered: system and application software design modeling, verification and code generation; networking and RTOS execution platforms; hardware-dependent software verification and code generation; Timing Analysis and code execution verification.
Complete openness and interoperability within the INTERESTED tool-chain of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Open Source tools will be demonstrated, including Artisan Studio, to the benefit of users and tool suppliers’ communities.
