Accounts Assistant

Cheltenham, UK

Description

The key objective of the role is to support the accounts team in the UK who look after the accounts for the UK and three foreign subsidiaries, main duties include:

  • Processing purchase invoices and staff expenses in multiple currencies
  • Preparing payment runs including purchase order reconciliation
  • Credit control for our worldwide customers
  • Bank reconciliations in multiple currencies
  • Maintenance of our accounts database, including updating our customer records for maintenance contracts
  • Purchase and management of office support services
  • General Ad-hoc duties as required to support the Finance team

Requirements

  • Experience of working on Sage packages is essential
  • Credit control experience is essential
  • Foreign languages are a plus but not essential
  • MS Outlook, Word and Excel experience are essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Motivated, able to use initiative and deal with a fast paced environment. Good telephone manner and excellent communicator.
