Selecting the right course for you
Artisan's courses are designed to meet the needs of a wide range of people, so it is important to select the course that best matches the specific requirements and prerequisite experience and skill set of the student. There are a number of criteria that inform this choice, including topic area, level of experience and required depth of learning and this information can be found in the course description. Please use the course code to help narrow down the search.
Understanding Artisan Course Codes
Each course uses a code that provides some information about the course. The general format of the course code is TOPIC-nnn, where TOPIC defines the topic area covered by the course and nnn is a three digit number as follows:
- The first digit indicates the level of the course:
1 = introductory - little or no topic knowledge or tool experience required;
2 = intermediate - some topic knowledge or tool experience required;
3 = advanced - good topic knowledge or tool experience required;
- The second digit is a course variant number.
- the third character defines the course duration in days.
